A note from the artist: “'Monsters' is a series that depicts the images of spirits and beings we have to face and battle every day, as we seek to survive and live. At first, we think we know the person in front of us until they are comfortable and soon become unrecognizable. These monsters may represent people we think are our friends, political figures, random strangers, or even those we live with every day.”
