A note from the artist: “The Netherlands just started self isolation that week. Alycia is my little sister with the age of five, when the pandemic started she didn’t understand what was happening. At moments they announce the new death toll on the news, I take Alycia outside to take pictures with. She is highly sensitive and notices very quickly when something is wrong, this is our way of dealing with the situation we’re in.”
