“My Feet Are Bigger”

A note from the artist: “It was my dream to leave my country that lacks the acceptance of different kinds of people and go study art somewhere else, where I could be free from societal pressures. So when I had to come back from my art school in USA, I was extremely anxious about my future and how I'm going to survive in the environment that seemed not appreciating who I can potentially be. I fell into a type of rabbit hole of shame, low self-esteem and overall confusion. The piece reflects how it literally felt like I was stuck to bed - unable to change my life.”
