A note from the artist: “Because of the pandemic I had to love myself. Spending time by yourself can be scary, I’m picking up the start of a long journey called “self love”. I think I needed this pandemic- in a way to - reflect on myself and the way I wasn’t taking good care of myself at all. Being taken out of the daily work-home/school-eat-sleep routine felt scary at first, but now I realize that this was the thing driving me crazy and making me angry and agitated all the time.

I’m starting to see that I’m allowed to not be needed the whole time, and that there’s a lot wrong with the ways our environment is built around destruction of not only ourselves, but our planet and people, too.”
