A note from the artist: “Over the past few weeks I have been sharing some brand new pieces from a fun fresh digital series I’ve been working on during the pandemic. Being quarantined with a toddler and a very pregnant wife, while still teaching art classes online, has left very little time for traditional studio sessions. So consequently, I’ve been currently gravitating towards the digital realm of painting. This new series shifts more of a focus on the pure fundamental elements such as line, shape, and space, simplifying the compositions down to a minimalist identity, while still possessing some of the expressionistic qualities that have been at the heart of my work for so long now.”
