A note from the artist: “It is high time for each and every one of us to commit to immediately actionable, proactive efforts to help further the cause of racial justice. For my part, I made this design because the South Asian community enjoys privilege in spades; and if we can collectively leverage that privilege, we can help our country take a huge step towards true equality. Hopefully this will be a dialogue starter, a motivator, a symbol of our resolve to pay our privilege forward.”⁣
